Unfortunately Didn't Work For My Application

A DP input requires power, which an HDMI output doesn't provide. So I learned something new! I returned the adapter back to the Best Buy store I bought it from, and the return process was a breeze. I ended up solving my issue by purchasing a Dell docking station.
