Found that my computer does not have HDMI ports, so I was loss how to connect a second monitor to my computer. This was a requirement for my job. The Geek Squad agent at the Columbia, MO store was wonderful. Since I already had the HDMI cord, the adapter is a great fit. I did not have to purchase another cord.
