Fortunately Best Buy has these great little adapters that connect the display port On the hub to my HDMI cable. Solved a problem easily for very little money. Appreciated the curbside service at Best Buy too.

It seems the world is moving toward DisplayPort and other interfaces, but I'm going to stay staunchly with my old monitors for now. As a result, I needed something to go from DisplayPort on my docking station to HDMI on my monitor. This small cable did the trick perfectly. I'm typing the monitor now, in fact, which speaks more eloquently than my words can.

This adapter allowed us to use a monitor we already had with the computer and not buy a new one. The length of the cable between connections makes it flexible enough to be used without potential damage to either port, and short enough not to have an excessive amount of wire to hide after installation.
