Works as described. Converts display port to hdmi.

I bought this to use as an extra video output. The adapter worked as described, but the hood on the display port end does not stay secure on the plug. Works fine but a little irritating and may be vulnerable to damage. But too much trouble to return it. Maybe check the quality on yours before you leave the parking lot.

Works as designated. It’s insignia so it’s not going to be of the highest quality but if you need something in a pinch don’t hesitate.

My gtx 1070 reads dvi hdmi then display port . So when turning on my PC my 1440p monitor wouldn't display video until Windows logged in from my second 1080p monitor via hdmi . So I bought this and now have two display ports hooked into my gpu and Windows works properly and turns on monitor one first aka the 1440p monitor . Works great not cheap but rather give BB my business as they're one of the last brick and mortar electronic stores left .

We were trying several things and this worked well.

No issues so far, in nearly 2 months of constant use. An excellent buy. Can you find the same elsewhere, cheaper? Sure. But it was something of an emergency, and the benefits of just going down the block to BB far outweighed the price.

We wanted to show a video slide show during a funeral reception, and needed an adapter to go from USB to HDMI. We went into Best Buy and the associate said "they don't make them, you should buy a new laptop." After doing a quick search on my phone, and then going to the Best Buy website while in the store, we found this product. Even though the clerk stated, try it, but it will never work," we did and it worked great after also buying an HDMI cable. Best Buy has the typical big box help, but products are available if you can dispense with their "advice."

It is what it is. It changes one HDMI connection size to another size.

Using this to run my TV as a monitor from a PC that only has a DisplayPort output. Video quality is excellent and the sound comes through perfectly....everything auto detected.

I picked this up while traveling for work and needed this for my HP laptop to connect to the hotel TV. HP does not support HDMI directly on my model and this device worked great. Since I had a cable already this small devices was the perfect option.

I've been trying to figure out how to fix an issue my son was having with his computer. Went searching and found this item. He can finally do what he's been wanting to. thank you not as frustrated mom

As a workplace safety instructor I am always plugging into my customers’ flat screen monitors. My HP laptop does not come with a HDMI port so this is a life saver and has sure made my life easier. Thank you!

It does exactly what you'd expect. When i want to plug my computer up to my big screen tv, this is what makes it happen. Theres not much else to say. It's been a life saver for me.

I was traveling and needed this adapter to complete an NOC (network operation center) installation. Nothing special to report. I needed the adapter and BB had it available.

Saw this in the store and just bought it. Works well, carries both video and sound to my home PC which I'm using as an extended monitor for my work laptop. I already had an HDMI to HDMI cable, so just needed the conversion to Display Port.

Need this to allow my new monitors to connect to my computer. I purchase two of them and they work great. I have not had any issues with the connection and highly recommend.
