It did the job but it was really expensive for what it does. But if you're just looking for something that works, look no further.

Needed this adapter for dual displays in a golf simulator with both a monitor and a projector. The video card did not have multiple HDMI ports so need this adapter!

Glad that it did work from my work lap top (hdmi) to my computer monitor (vga). Only hope for a better quality since it’s from digital to analog. The video port to hdmi adaptor did not work which would have been better since they are both digital.

I love these adapters they are the most convenient choice converting over to display port adapter from your standard HDMI cable to make a versatile tool for the audio video trade!

Some people say it doesn’t work good but I have had it for awhile and had no problem with it. Best Buy is good if you have troubles with it and need to return it

The dongle works as intended. Every now and again I have to disconnect the HDMI cable from the dongle and reconnect to get an input signal into the TV otherwise it would get the fifth star.

Needed this adapter for my HP laptop that only has the display port monitor output so I could connect to my HP 27" monitor that only has HDMI input on it. Works as expected.

It worked well however, it was somewhat difficult to determine whether it was the kind of receptor on the USB (Side) from the photo given online.

Excellent device to put in your portable computer or electronics bag. I have multiple. Most monitors/tv's now have multiple HD connections and the USB port required for this device, but not all have the 'screen mirroring' option. It works with multiple operating systems, and unlike Chrome Cast, displays on the monitor whatever is on your compatible wireless display device. I have the connection be a little 'finicky'/argue getting the phone or tablet, but it has always worked.

Bought this adapter to use with a KVM and second connection on a large screen monitor. Video quality is great and the adapter seems sturdy and well built. Definitely recommend.

Needed this for my gaming pc to hook up my second monitor. It works as designed and it does extend the display and not mirror it.

Adapter is nothing special and works most of the time as expected. I have experienced a few times where my grahpics card didn't display anything on the screen hooked up through this adapter. I am unsure if it is the adapter on my card which is the reason for 4 stars.

It's a decent adapter, the only thing that I find bad is the fact the best you'll get out of it is 120 HZ witch is sad. The other thing I've noticed it gets very hot from the boxed femal end so be careful.

Changed position to work from home full-time and this helped me setup both my personal and work computers on a 5 monitor/TV display setup.

This was my only option for attaching a computer to a tv. All other ports are used. Clarity is great. Don’t notice a difference between this and HDMI cable.

These adapters work great for connecting a display cable from my projector to my hdmi port in my computer. I don't see any signal loss at all.

The only thing keeping this from a 5* is that is can be a little unstable. Not always recognizing the cable. A simple unplug and plug in fixes it. But still an event that it would be nice to avoid. Connections are solid

This adapter works as soon as you plug it in. Solid connections are at both ends, that won't jiggle, slip, or slide. Display image is crisp and clear.

Reliable brand and have always needs these small devices many times.

I bought this adapter hoping to make the HDMI port on my monitor a display port. It did that but it did not provide the display port capabilities.
