I also love that it eliminates cords. The separate light indicators help with knowing which controller is charged.

Power source is USB only (no AC adapter) and it only has the two docs for controllers. If it at least had one or two USB ports of its own, it could be forgiven for chewing up one of the few precious USB ports on your console. Oh, and it can be rather tricky to get your controller to settle in juuuuuuust the right spot so that it charges. Make sure you see that light come on!
