Dock and controllers look clean and nice when they are sitting right next to my PS5. I originally wanted the Song but I liked the way this one looked better for where I was placing mine. No regrets. This charger works great and has been easy to use. Nothing beats simple.

Power source is USB only (no AC adapter) and it only has the two docs for controllers. If it at least had one or two USB ports of its own, it could be forgiven for chewing up one of the few precious USB ports on your console. Oh, and it can be rather tricky to get your controller to settle in juuuuuuust the right spot so that it charges. Make sure you see that light come on!

In general, if you are only going to play single-player game, technically you do not need this charging station because you can just simply plug the USB cable that comes with the PS5 package to PS5 and then plug the other end of the USB cable to the PS5 controller which also comes with the same PS5 package. Regardless, if you have this charger, you will not regret having it. Whether this product is a must-have or not depends on whether you are planning to play a lot of multi-player games or not.
