Absolutely works as advertised, but could be a bit better with a couple changes. I appreciate more devices moving to USB-C, but this one is made for a console that doesn't have one of those in a convenient location. If you want to power this off the PS5 itself, you either need to use the only USB-C port which is on the front or have a USB C-to-A adapter to use a back port. This charger probably should have went with USB-A or included a USB-C dongle. But USB-C is great if you have a multi-port charger brick or power strip with C ports. The reason I replaced this with the official Sony charger is that the design only allows for standard height sticks. If you have stick caps/height extenders or a DualSense Edge with non-standard height sticks, they will not rest in the cutouts and will have constant forward pressure applied. My controller would still charge with KontrolFreek caps, but the constant pressure is concerning and could lead to early spring wear causing stick drift.

It does what it needs to do. I have mine plugged into to the ps5 and it seems like it only charges while the ps5 is on and not in sleep mode. You can plug it into the wall but I didn’t have space nor do I like looking at wires all over the place.

Great, sleek and better charging stand than many others. Does not require any attachment to the controller to charge. LED lights indicate charging level. Comes with a USB C out, will require to plug into PS5 or a usb c to outlet adapter.

It took a minute for me to get the hang of how it docks because theres a piece that goes into the headphone jack, but after i got over that, its set it and forget it. Only gripe is the cord is built in for some reason so unless youre fine with plugging it in the front if you already have a hard drive, you may wanna have an ac adaptor

This was a great price for this items. I brought a PS5 bundle with two controllers and need something to charge one controller while playing with the other. Pretty simple.

Cheaper than the Sony licensed one but I feel like it works better. I dont have to fight with it to line up the controller perfectly. Great product.

I purchased this as an accessory to the Ps5 I gave a child for Christmas. He also received a second controller. This is a life saver. Both controllers can be charged and ready for playing games rather than charging one at a time. For the price, it is a necessity.
