Though I wanted the one direct from Sony, they didn't have any in stock and I opted for this model. It has a similar finish to the system, and charges the controllers well.

Lights on the front indicate when charging but when placing controller in there’s no feel to it actually being in the correct position til it lights up. Uses the usb-c on the front of the console and has quite a long cable which would be good for moving the base around but makes hiding the cord impossible.

Put both controllers on at the end of a game session and next time I go to play they are full. Does what is it designed for and does it well.

Does the job and looks good

This dock solved that. It works great and charges fast. The only thing I don't like is that it never feels like the controllers are sitting sturdy on the dock. Other than that, it's great.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this works fairly well, my only complaint is compared to the PS4 Chargers they do not work as easily, the PS4 version would click in and you knew it was charging where this one sometimes if you bump the table or something like that it stops charging the item, maybe if there was some sort of a magnetic connection or something like that that it would connect to this would be better but I can't tell you how many times I picked up controller that's been sitting on the charger for a few days and it is dead because it didn't quite fit perfectly into its spot. But when it is working it does its job it looks nice and it keeps the controllers organized.
