Iam to far away from the console to quicky change controllers when one is depleted. Also, you have to remove the controller from the unit. I left in the charger I could smell the battery overheating which concerning. My old charger you could press down, and the charger would stop. The controller could remain in the stand with no problems.

Not sure if it’s just the one I got because I’ve had one before without that issue
