Just checked it to be sure it was installed correctly and worked. Which it did. Decided to check out some DVDs finally and the thing died. I had my son-in-law who is an electrician look at it. He even took it to his house to see if it was my connection. Still didn’t work. Very disappointed in this product. Felt it should work even though I hadn’t used it yet. Of course my warranty is no longer good. Next time I won’t wait so long to use it.

Period. I tried three different DVDs and it would not read the discs. Secondly, it was insanely loud when attempting to read the disc. I thought I was in the movie 'Transformers', and the thing was gonna morph into life.
