So far this little, relatively inexpensive, DVD player is working okay (had it less than a month). The "play/pause" button is in a bad place, and I have to double check frequently to be sure I'm pressing the correct button. Otherwise, I end up either clicking the "zoom" button, or the "fast forward" button, or even the "pre-stop/stop" button. Once again, it was inexpensive, so I don't want to over-expect. Some of the more expensive players were for Blu-ray & regular DVD, which I didn't want to invest in. Only time will tell about the longevity of this player, and whether I wasted my money. I would recommend this if you want a cheap one without frills. Hopefully, it will last for a while.

I've recently 'cut the cord', so I'm working on adding as many alternatives to my home for programming options as possible. This DVD player works great! Allows me to binge watch my collection of DVDs without a problem.

Since this unit is for composite cables its a rare item.Almost hard to find if you need one. HDMI rules now and if you need old school then its hard to find. I had a logical use for it and with the low price its hard not to have as a spare or backup,

Im a big movie watcher and when my last dvd player decided to stop working I immediately started looking around for a new one. I looked at product reviews and saw that this one was highly recommended. Easy hookup my 11yr old could do and and in fact she did.

I needed this to replace a DVD player. This is economical, and works pretty nicely. I did not need the HDMI out so this is really convenient and economical.

I purchased this dvd player because they just don't last long no matter how you pay for them, so I was pleasantly surprised with clarity of the picture.

My old home theater DVD player (philips) started to have issues reading disks so bought this one. It is a very simple machine. Read and play DVD that is it. No HDMI. Managed to wire it through the home theater and it worked very well.

The Insignia dvd player is very functional and very affordable. It served the purposes for which we acquired it. The only down side is that I did not notice before purchasing it that it does not have HDMI connectivity.

Needed a new DVD player, checked out BestBuy.com and found this Insignia model, checked the reviews and it looked like a good cheaper option. Went to Best Buy and picked one up, and it was even on sale. Easy to hook to my TV, works great.

I purchased this DVD player as cheap unit to play movies on a spare TV in the guest bedroom. It performs very well and I couldn't beat the price since it was a Deal of the Day item. I should have bought another to have as a backup.
