Works well. This review was solicited, I have been promised Best Buy points, whatever those are. But the adapter does work well.

This unit does what it needs too, and you can pick it up at Best Buy(don't have to wait for it to arrive), so I guess you are paying for convenience. But this is very expensive for this piece.

DVI Adapter needed is an older version and I was not aware that the newer version was slightly different. The older version did not have a horizontal blade, just the pins..

I thought this was a normal dvi to vga but clearly it wasn't. I was disappointed but I mean, it does say it on the package so..works like it should if you want this type

Needed this adapter to allow for two monitors for my docking station. Works great - no issues!

This adapter was perfect. I usually try to stay away from insignia but the thing works amazingly! It clicks in to place and after a couple of months of use, I've had no problems with it!

This is one of those connectors that everyone needs just in case you are in a need of converting from one port type to another for PC. The quality it's still great.

This was exactly the part we needed. It did the job. We had to plug in our monitor and needed this to accomplish the task.

This was fine for temporary use. My only issue was that I couldn't adjust the resolution on my monitor high enough while using it

can't say much about it besides that it does what it supposed to a bit pricey but I needed it asap and no one else had it so take the price for a covinience fee

Came in handy when there were no DVI-D to VGA adapters available at my store. I thought it would not work, but I obviously just do not know my connections very well! I used my adapter with my NVIDIA 750 TI, NVIDIA 770, and eventually, when I no longer needed the VGA monitor, with an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB. While I had my VGA-only monitor, I needed this for my three-monitor wide Surround experience. It was valuable as nowhere around my area carried these kind of adapters in store and I do not normally order online. My only complaint was with the tightening screws. One of the screws was not seated into the proper place, and would not allow for me to fully tighten the adapter into the GPU on one side. It was not a big deal as I was not normally throwing my monitor around my room or taking the ol' rig for a walk around the block, but it would have still been nice to have a fully seated adapter. Please do keep in mind this did not ever effect my gaming. The monitor never unintentionally unplugged. The adapter was always seated and screwed in on one side, it was just not screwed in on both sides. The one unscrewed side NEVER EFFECTED MY GAMING OR COMPUTER USING EXPEREINCE.

This adapter is the “glue” that holds my computer together. It’s amazing that one little adapter determines if you can get on the internet or not.

Worked as expected. Note there different pin configurations on the DVI side. Get the one that works with your video card.

This converted a dual-dvi graphics card with dvi-i to a vga connector and worked great on an old pc which now gets crystal clear 1080p through the vga port.

hey its a dvi to via adapter and it works woohoo kind of tricky to fasten the screws on the dvi side due to lack of room

I wasn't even sure this product existed. I stopped by the Apple Valley Best Buy and Mike brought my right to this product after I explained what I was trying to do.
