    Apparently there are diff types of DVI connections, so be careful, but I got lucky bcuz mine worked AOK.

    I purchased this to hook up a computer with DVI port to an older monitor with VGA only. Found out it was the wrong type of DVI plug and the pincs did not match up. Had to do a crash course in the different types of DVI ports on the market and wasn't able to find the one I needed in the store.
