    This cable connects to back of your PC/Terminal ... NOT to the back of your monitor. Be sure to get the correct adapter and do NOT force this adapter on a monitor. It will not work. This product works as intended, just be sure to know what you're getting.

    I needed a video cable or an adapter for a docking station. I didn't check the pin configuration until after I got back to the office. The packaging shows the configuration on the package (I just didn't take the time). This adapter has the 4 extra pins on it which will not allow you to plug it into some Dell docking stations
