i bought this to fix an issue with a friend computer

I needed this component for a projector that I have.

Bought this adapter so that i could connect two monitors to my computer. This adapter was hard to find in stores were i live. So order it from best buy. It works great and easy to connect.

But it was what I needed to get my computer screen hooked to my gaming PC that was just moved. April at the E'town Best Buy got me the correct adapter and I was back to my computer games.

I was sure I would not be able to find what I needed. Wrong! Also, it didn't cost a million dollars. No issues with video image resolution or the funny looking screen. Perfect!

I needed to connect a VGA monitor to a DVI cable while a specific replacement DVI monitor was on order . This is what I needed, this is what I bought, this got the job done.

It worked fine. The one problem that I had was that the plastic around the DVI side had to be cut down in order to plug in another DVI cable. This was not entirely the fault of this product as a bad design of the graphics card is also to blame.

Our newly purchased computer had HDMI & DVI ports. Our older monitors had HDMI & VGA ports. So I had to go back to BB and get this adapter. Both monitors work great.

I needed to run 2 monitors (both vga) off my new graphics card and found this adapter to do the trick. Although I think $12 is a bit pricey for a piece of plastic with some pins coming out. Thanks anyways though. It did what I needed.

Asked the customer service for an adapter that would allow a dvi monitor to attach to a vga outlet on my pc. They gave me this. Wish I had read about it online more before going to the store since it was the wrong adapter.

Purchased to connect laptop to older 52" TV... connected it from PC to TV via VGA cable and it worked flawlessly....it doesn't get any easier than that!

this product works amazingly. I have bought a few and never had a problem. Best buy also sells them at a great price and always has them in stock.

This thing works just as it is supposed to. Just remember that you need to look at which direction you need to adapt to and from.

I bough this item because I needed to hooked my child's gaming card so I can be able to see the monitor, it worked well for me

It was pay day and as I tried to open my computer it kept sending me an error message. I couldn't go beyond this page. I talked to a Geek Squad rep, got an appt and took my hard drive to the nearest store. After he troubleshooted possible problems he suggested I replace this adapter. It worked. I was able to send in my payments on time and I haven't had any more problems since. I am now more aware that these adapters do age after moving so many times in many years and the contacts on it weaken.

I'm sure this would work for most monitors, but I had limited space on my docking station since I had 2 DVI to VGA adapters side-by-side.
