POOR PACKAGING

Of course it works as expected. It didn't have the full range of pins I was accustomed to seeing though. Not sure what that means or if it's a quality thing, but it works, nevertheless. I just wonder how cheap it could've been obtained online.

It was the wrong adapter

It's very hard to see the port clearly especially when you don't realize you are looking for variations so you order the right adapter.. Also Best Buy picture shows the VGA end which does not vary instead of the other DVI end in which the configuration is critical. Weeks later after I tried to plug it in unsuccessfully someone had me take more pictures and then sent me an article about the different configurations. So I dscovered I have the wrong adapter and am returning the one I purchased. Please be more specific about choices when someone looks for a DVI to VGA adapter - it would have saved a lot of agony if I had known there were differences
