A year or so ago I went to a local restaurant...actually a small coffee shop that tried to serve breakfast; but when I saw the electric griddle that the proprietor was using to cook the eggs, etc., I promised myself that I would buy one some day. Lo and behold, Best Buy offered one online at a great price. Now, after using it a few times, not only is does it get very hot, but it is very easy to clean-even washed-as the electrical cord can be detached quite easily. The selling prompt was the price as I was patient enough to wait to find one later on at a decent price.

This griddle is just simple. Easy to clean, non stick, lightweight and reaches great temperature you can regulate.

Wow is this griddle amazing and easy to clean. If i was going to give it a con it would be the grease tray because if I want to make eggs on there sometimes the egg residue goes into the grease tray and not on the girddle but that is the only bad side. This thing is HARD to scratch. Cooks fast and cleans very easily. Makes great french toast.

Good Electric Griddle, Easy to clean , heats quickly and not huge fits small space

I bought this on a whim so that making bulky things would go more quickly. So far I've made french toast, burgers, and bacon with this and I love it. The grease pan fills up really quickly with a pack of bacon so watch out there (duh) but overall, it's decent. Plastic handles that will probably break one day and an easy power plug in. Overall decently even cooking heat but like anything, there are hot spots and colder spots, nothing too dramatic though.

I've owned this griddle for one month now. I know there are some reviews that complain about uneven heating surface. There are certain spots on the griddle that get hotter than others but doesn't seem to effect the overall quality of the food being cooked. I am a vegan and I am bad at cooking pancakes on a pan LOL. So I needed a good griddle and had a reward so I naturally bought this! I use this all the time. I'll make grilled "cheese" sandwiches, pancakes, french toast, sautéing veggies, veggie dogs & buns, and so much more. I actually cooked up an entire eggplant and it came out awesome in a quick amount of time. I so recommend this to anyone who wants one of these. It's very easy to clean and store. The only thing is the logo "Insignia" painted on the front of the griddle rubbed right off. This doesn't bother me at all and makes no difference whatsoever. Just a heads up for anyone but it doesn't effect my opinion on this awesome exciting purchase I made. For the price, you can't go wrong!

Solved problem of "cold pancakes" (making them one-at-a-time). The griddle non-stick surface is mounted on a light plastic frame, which means it's very light and needs careful use, but griddle works very well and has easy control of surface heat. It's inexpensive, works like a champ. Keep the factory box for storage. What's not to like?

I have a large family and this is great / can make an entire breakfast in a jiffy. Bacon, sausage, eggs, etc. however, this is not the right fryer for anything that needs to be stirred or liquids. Use the Presto frying pan with sides for those jobs. Otherwise this is a great product.

This griddle is excellent for cooking bacon and pancakes. Heats up very quickly which make is super easy to cook, bacon cooks perfectly and evenly, pancakes are delicious, , and very easy to clean!

I bought this griddle because mine lost its non stick surface. My previous griddle was much larger, but this one serves its purpose. It cooks fast and nothing sticks.

This is very good for daily usage simple to operate and gives perfect temperature. Very good for breakfast. Easy to use in picnic parties

Only had it for a few days but already once and it did get very hot and did a great job. Cleanup was extremely easy.

This is worth the price, which heats instantly and only downside is the power cord is pretty short in length

This Electric Griddle is inexpensive and useful. However, what I would have preferred is something with little higher edges.

This electric griddle is non stick, holds a constant temperature and is easy to clean. Great for pancakes.

Does a good job on cooking my pancakes and eggs! Doesn't get real hot to burn anything either!
