Controller fails to connect to my Xbox a few times

I bought this without checking the reviews first and i have to say i am quite satisfied with this charger. i liked it so much i bought another one for my regular controller.

I got this after reaching the unfortunate realization that my standard controller rechargeable batteries and station don't fit the elite controller. This charger is much flakier than my Nyko charging cradle; I've come back on more than one occasion after setting it down and having the light come to a barely charged battery because it wasn't making complete contact. You also can't have the rear paddles on it while charging which is a bummer. Still way better than burning through AAs though.

Charge is lasting long, but it doesnt have the best battery i have seen so far. Love it

Good charger looks nice and doesn't take up much room, however the battery pack stopped working after 6 months.

This battery and charger worked for a little while with no issues then all of a sudden it wouldn't stop charging. I put it on one evening and after a few hours I noticed the light was still red, it's red when charging and green when done. When I took it off to inspect, the battery was extremely hot and my controller was hot too. Luckily it didn't damage my controller, but I will not use it again. Buy at your own risk.

I had to return this item because it would not charge the battery correctly. After two hours the battery showed full charge when i connected to mt XBox One, but then it shut off in a matter of seconds. It was purchased as an Open Box or Returned Item markdown so I'm assuming that the previous owner must have had the same issues before me.

The battery gets so hot whiles charging it will burn your fingers, took it back.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it until the battery overheated while it was in his Xbox. By overheated I mean started smoking to where he had to take his elite controller to geek squad and get it fixed.. maybe we just got a lemon but I was very disappointed.

Bought it for my son. He is an gamer and play very often. The charging station is not charging anymore already. My oldest recommended getting the rechargeable batteries and I wish I did.

Stopped charging my batteries after 2 weeks and batteries only lasted like 5 hrs if you’re a gamer you know that’s nothing

It doesn't allow you to set up that many different buttons like it says it does.

This is the only charging station I own and the only one I've found made for the Xbox Elite Controller. This charging station looks good and is well made. Everything is very simple to figure out what goes where. LED indicator to let you know how your charging stands and the battery plate is made for wired or wireless charging (not QI). The battery pack was really my only con since I went from #2 Duracell 2500mah AA batteries that provided 5000mah of power down to a 1400mah of power. Now in Insignias defense most aftermarket charge packs ate usually only 1100-1200mah so this is better then the rest but I still don't understand why a 3600mah or 5000mah battery pack hasn't been made yet? One last issue is I wish the battery cover had the same soft rubber feel as the original did and I wish they would've marked on cover P1,P2,P3,P4 for the back paddles like the original has but overall these are more complaining about personal preferences and not functionality. I got this for $11 on Cyber Monday so I highly recommend this charging station.

Love this charger. All you have to do is set it on the stand. No plugging the controller up. It stops charging when the battery is charged and a green light comes on.
