Works perfectly, had to get because I put my original remote in a safe place and until I remember where that place is I need a backup. Have been using it for a few weeks and all the busywork perfectly.

No programming necessary. It solved a total disaster we were having attempting to get our pre used tv programmed to the new remotes that were not insignia brand !

Why Did I Have This Expense?

Did some checking to see if others had experienced this and found where a couple of people had said they bought a replacement remote and problem went away. This is what happened in this case. Wasn't much cost to replace, but why? If is same why didn't original work correctly?
