Better Than the Remote That Came With My TV

The one that came with the TV seemed to have a mind of its own. The one that came with the TV turned itself off and on, changed channels by itself--and not because I wanted it to do that! So far so good with this one. The one that came with my TV died at less than a year old.

Very Easy To Use

My old remote looks the same but a few features were different. Works just like the original remote that came with the TV. For some reason the original remote started having problems where it would not work or the volume got stuck on high.

For me, no pairing was required. Simply just unboxed it, put batteries in, and it worked immediately. For anyone that needs an immediate solution for operating their tv I would recommend the “Fire TV” app by Amazon. As long as your tv and phone are connected to the same WiFi network it was a great temporary solution.

I got home and it connected right away! Didn’t need to hold down any buttons for a certain amount of seconds in order for to connect. If my dog chews this one up, I’ll know to get this version again.

Helpful Hint #2: When you do, rush down to your Best Buy store and purchase a replacement. Load the batteries, point at the TV and you're back in business. Helpful Hint #3: When your original remote dries out and miraculously starts working again, do not give it to your wife unless you enjoy clicker wars.

Helped this old cowboy figure out which one works on his TV and I work right out of the package.
