The remotes on amazon are mostly ir blasters and do not have the required bluetooth functionality.

I didn’t need to program the controller with the TV at all. I just needed batteries and aim it on the TV and it went by itself I love it

Connected right away with no hassle and the buttons are butter smooth and SO MUCH better than the awful remote that came with the tv. Almost worth losing the original remote to get such a upgraded replacement.

If you look at the box, it looks like it might be slightly different from the original remote that came with the tv, but the nice BestBuy employee opened the box, and it was exactly the same. Works just as well as the original.
