Was a little concerned that it was the tv and not the remote. I never had a remote just not work, but I guess it does happen. Wasn't happy with the price, but well worth the price since it works and it wasn't my tv that was the problem.

Didnt even need to pair unless using Alexa. Couldn't be easier

Unfortunately it draws down battery life so much we started removing the battery when it is not in use.
