I was lied to I didn't get a 2 day notice before delivery and I got delivery by I forgot who it was. FedEx, very bad service, I've been with you people. A long time and just lately, i'm getting bad service. I wanna buy a TV, but I'm scared to order one. I've been thinking about it all week.

We selected this remote due to it having the voice feature so we are somewhat disappointed in our purchase.

I have to take the batteries out and put them back in for the remote to work. Soooo, it works but it has quirks...

Warranty

But I bought a warranty for this remote and then Best Buy decided to remove the warranty on this product all together without ever informing me or giving me information on how long it was supposed to last. Basically screwed me over and made me pay double the price of the remote to then change their minds a couple months later when I needed to replace it. Whatever, typical capitalistic America BS.

Next time I’ll go with one specifically for toshiba and not just compatible with.

Drains Batteries Relentlessly After A Few Months

After a few months use, two of them drain batteries in less than a week. When the remote is new batteries will last months. The remotes are very lightly used and shouldn't fail this soon and as often as they do.

A necessity that shouldn’t be necessary

If you own a fire television then you already know your television isn’t worth anything without having this remote because you will never be able to set up your television to work without it. Once set up you can get around with just using the app but be aware that if you move or change internet providers of reset your television, you can’t get around with setting it up without this very expensive replacement. You can’t find this remote cheap anywhere unless you luck out with a used one from someone. It should not cost this much and it shouldn’t be required just to work your television when you first get it set up or when you have to move, change internet or reset your television. Stick with Roku or Vizio because you can work both platforms with their remote phone apps without ever having to use a physical remote in the first place.
