    The Sales Rep wasnt helpful and gave us an ooen box item that in no way was compatible with the TV we bought it for. He looked up our TV purchase to verify the exact type and still sold us an incompatible remote. We are bringing it back but left for several weeks to see family. We pray we'll be abke to replace for the right one or refunded.

    The original remote stopped working so I got a replacement. In less than a month that stopped working just like the first one. It all stopped working on the left side of the remote. Couldn't get the sound buttons to work. It wouldn't turn off the TV etc.

    Although it was nice to find a control that was compatible with our TV, the center button went bad after a month of use on the previous on purchased. Good thing that it was a Best Buy item that was warranted for a year, it was convenient to get a replacement quickly.

    My remote needs new batteries daily. I have tried all the tips online but nothing fixes the issue, I called Best Buy and they won’t talk to me about it unless I pay $100 service fee.

    Cut the cable tv cord and went with YouTube TV. You have to ask Alexa to connect you and that doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to start and restart the tv. It’s very frustrating. It just doesn’t work well

    Had a lot of trouble getting this work because instructions were inadequate. Had enormous difficulty getting instructions from Insignia (Best Buy product). This is the third one. Hope it keeps working. Wrote to Best Buy but they never responded. Not good.

    Had this remote for 2 weeks before it stopped working consistently. When we initially purchased it it was great. No programming, just worked immediately. Then it worked sometimes, and now it doesn’t work at all. It’s been a 1.5 months and it’s trash and I can’t return it. For $30 I expect more and am extremely dissatisfied.

    Quit working after one week

    The remote worked for about a week and then randomly stopped working. We tried replacing batteries, we google how to reset and repair the remote, etc., and nothing worked. I can’t take it back because I don’t have the box or receipt.

    This doesnt work for a Fire Stick. Lost my remote and needed a replacement. This was recommended by a staff in store. The instructions say: On TV, click settings, and pairing etc.... I cannot click on my TV as I have... . . No. Remote. I found Amazon reviews explaining this remote is for a Fire TV only. Not a Fire Stick. So I'm returning this. I'm sure somehow it probably works fine with a Fire TV. Dont know how you can click settings on a tv without a remote to pair the new one though.

    Junk. Didn't sync properly. Sound doesn't sync. Slippery; hard to hold. Best Buy service stinks. Won't service a 39" smart TV unless I bring it in. I'm 83 years old! I will NEVER set foot in Best Buy again.

    Didnt last long. Got a new one because of the warranty and it doesn't seem like this will last long either and will probably have to take this back soon. When you push a button for a selection, seems like sometimes it has a hard time connecting and that is the problem I had with the other one until it wouldn't make connection at all at just stop working.

    I bought this August 4 2024 it died by October 24. Just past the return point. I bought from here cause I thought it wouldn’t be a knock off cheap item… I was wrong.
