I purchased 2 Insignia tablets. As soon as we took out of the box and turned it on a black screen with error came on . We tried turning it off nothing It just froze. We had to Google to troubleshoot it. We pushed the small pin hole button to reset. Turned on after that but kept going to error screen. Both tablets did the same thing. We had to return them. Since we returned them within 14 days we got our money back with out any problem. Good customer service.

This tablet has a good amount of memory for installing apps and has a slot to add a memory card for additional storage.
It has 1GB RAM which is good for browsing most websites and running most apps available. I had to use Opera Mini as a web browser to block ads and use less memory on harder to render websites.
The display is outstanding in the price range. Great color, plenty bright and a fine resolution for an eight inch screen.
Stereo speakers add great depth to the audio experience, but can't get very loud without distortion. In the settings you can use a software trick to get them a bit louder, but it ends up adding even more distortion at louder volumes.
The biggest downside has to be the cameras.
They are not usable in my experience, they can't focus and perform poorly indoors.
Android tablets in general can't replace your computer, but as media consumption and light productivity devices they are an amazing value; in the under $100 price range this tablet is one of the best.

I was looking for something to play games, but the controls are awkward and some things I can't do because of the way the keyboard works. It's frustrating. On a positive note the screen and graphics are very clear and sharp.

Would give 5 stars if not for 2 two things. Not great battery life & Start up time is rather long. Other than that I would put it up to my wife's $300 iPad. And this Insignia was $80 on sale. WELL worth the money. Very pleased. Like android over ios. Have been watching sports videos and the picture is fantastic

This a budget priced tablet. I bought it because of its name/ brand Insignia.I have smart Insignia tv and they are quality tv.This tablet is cheap,almost 100 usd.The on/off button was taking very long to work. The picture and color is poor,the battery dont last long.So for starters,this might be a good buy but if you expect quality,this is not for you.

Ok so I bought this tablet and i was really excited about the features and it was really affordable. But the first problem i noticed was that the port on the tablet for the charger was very loose and it got work over a short period of time. One day as i was trying to put the charger in the port, it snapped. I only owned the tablet for two weeks. And took it to geek squad at best buy and they told me it was a manufacture defect and i could get another one even though i had no warranty. I tried it again and guess what same problem! This time after a month and a half i was no longer able to charge my tablet. Best buy just gave me store credit because the manufacturer knew that this was a consistent problem.
Honestly i loved that tablet and i would have kept it if it wasnt for the charger

I didn't read the reviews for this before I purchased it and wished I did. The tablet was cheap which is why I bought it. The screen turned black and stopped working within 2 months. It was a waste of $60
