Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really went against my better judgement with this one and was proven correct in my assumption that the mixed reviews might prove the product not work the cheap price. However, I did figure I would get at least a year before it went dead. The tablet will not charge......yes, after just a little over 2 months of owning it. Did not purchase warranty as I figured it would be cheaper to just replace it in a year, but two months is ridiculous. I would love to know how many people have had this tablet for more than 6 months without needing to replace it.

Otherwise avoid this tablet. Up until 2 weeks ago, tablet worked OK. Battery life was OK, would last 4 hours on a charge. Recently, battery life was rapidly dropping until life was less than 30 mins. This is a common design problem. Yesterday, I returned the tablet for a refund. Purchased a Samsung Tab A.

You will be so frustrated with its slow responses, constant restarts and low battery life that you will just give up as I did. I'm not sure why Best Buy decided to market their own tablet but this is far inferior to any I have seen on the market. Pay extra to get a decent device. You won't regret it.

The charging port is very poorly designed and based on the reviews I have seen here the charging ports on these things do not last for more then a few months. One of the reviews said it was good for beginners, i disagree, if you want it to last more then 3 months keep it away from kids and beginners and don't use it while it is being charged.

From reading other reviews on Insignia tablets, it seems that this is a widespread issue. Best Buy should refund the purchase or provide customers a store credit! The Best Buy clerks recommended the product as Best Buy's store brand. This makes me not want to purchase items from Best Buy anymore.

Cant even trans pics no more than 20. or it crashes. cant play avi mpeg nothing. trying other codecs. also alot of app will not work with it either. not sure why they just said return it.. lol

Not bad for $80 but very slow to load and close apps or web browser, to the tune of 5-10 seconds. The speakers are sub par and the resolution is mediocre at best. Unacceptable at any price and will be exchanging it soon
