It should be coming out of the side or bottom so it does not get in the way. - I don't think it operates easily. Maybe a young person can figure it all out, but I'm senior citizen and felt overwhelmed. On the bright side, it does a great job videoing, great panoramic view. I thought it would be useful in case I was ever in an accident.

The only down side is the size of the memory card you have to buy separately. I would have liked a few more gigs. But for the price this is a pretty good deal

I really cannot set it every time I use my car. Also, I read the instruction, set the G-sensor and motion sensor on, and I turn off my car, the camera's not catching people walking in front of the car.
