The only thing they should change is the length of the wall mounting plate. It’s only 16” which is the exact space of wall studs. I could only use 2 wall lag bolts into one stud to keep the tv centered in the room. It works fine and is very secure but if they made it 24” long you could get all 4 lag bolts in it.

I moved the 55" free standing television from my basement to my kitchen and mounted it. I purchased a 65" to put in the basement and used the Insignia to mount it. It looks great. The full range of motion of the wall mounts allow me to be almost anywhere in the room and still see the television. They are wonderful space savers. If you are not familiar with hanging televisions, I would definitely recommend the installation service.

Get extra help for set-up.

However we used 4 people to do it, so make sure you have enough help because you don't want to crack your screen before putting it up.
