However, it worked in only one outlet of all the outlets I tried in EU. The length of the EU prong is not sufficient to fit in the recessed outlets in EU, and as some reviewers mention, it is not a fault of EU that their outlets are recessed but of Insignia's for not doing the research before selling the product. What is the point to have a fantastic product if it is useless? If you are buying it for European travel, think twice as the length of the 'round' outlet is not enough to fit EU outlets. I had to use a competitor's product which had long prong. I bought it as a secondary, which I never used due to this reason. For reference, the length of EU prong in this product is 3/4" and length in the adapter that worked is 1 1/2".

It doesn't take much space and it's not bulky. You can throw in your back pack when traveling. I highly recommend it for travelers that need an adapter to charge there electronics devices

Turns out I didn't -- most devices are dual voltage these days. Just plug in the devices charger to the adapter with the proper plug for the outlet and plug it in. Simple! This comes with a range of plugs if you're country hopping and is compact because of how they cleverly fit together. I've only used it in the UK, but it's worked great so far. (Side note, I also bought Insignia's 3 USB International wall charger and that also works great).
