In today's quickly changing tech pace I find myself searching for adapters that can keep my experiences new until I can purchase newer gear. Sure, VGA has been long extinct, but when you've accumulated multiple monitors and boxes of said ilk, a $14 solution is a blessing!

Works well to allow me to get a much bigger screen. Easy to set up.

I received a new desktop computer for Christmas. Sadly, I discovered none of the provided connectors would connect to my monitor. After much research I purchased this item, the only one available for immediate use near me. It was easy to connect and works perfectly. Best Buy saved the day and didn't break the bank!

Works great for 2nd monitor that is not an high def.

Bought a laptop for a friend, and tried to connect it to his OLD monitor. Monitor only connects via VGA, and the laptop's only output was HDMI. This device plugged into the laptop, and allowed us to use the old monitor, thereby saving him money - worked exactly as advertised - plug it in and the monitor worked. Great product.

This cable worked great for adding a second monitor to my system. My tower is 4 yrs old, which is considered old by today's standards. This cable helped me to add an older monitor to my older tower. Now I have two working monitors with my refurbished tower.

I went in the store not knowing about these adapters , thinking I was going to have to purchase a desktop monitor. The store associate Ashleigh, told me about these and saved me a lot of dough! Once I got it home, it was plug and play simple. A great money saving investment that should last a lifetime!

Just bought it. I have an old Dell monitor (VGA) circa...2010 earlier that I wanted to hook up to a Dell Inspiron 5515 (HDMI) bought June 2021, for the purpose of dual monitors. So far, this works fabulous! Makes life so much easier.

My laptop has an HDMI port. The TV on the counter next to me has 2 occupied HDMI ports and one VGA port. I went ahead and got this to see if it works, and guess what? It does! And it is still read as connected to the NVIDIA Display Adapter. Easily configured the TV to look EXCELLENT.

We were working from home during the shelter-in-place and my wife needed a second monitor for more efficiency. I pulled out an old Sony monitor to connect to her laptop, but it was a VGA connection. Her laptop had only USB ports. The converter worked perfectly.

This thing worked awesome. i have an older stereo system used sometimes for additional sound system for the TV. The new TV I purchased not have older type of connectors but the optical output. This adapter works perfect. 1 note, your TV settings will need to be changed to the correct output settings for audio

Exclamation points mean excitement, right!? I guess it's a bit hard to get too worked up for a review for a simple cable. I wanted something that would allow me, if needed, to use my gaming consoles on an old VGA monitor, and this little doodad fits the bill. If you ever have a need to hook up a device that normally uses an HDMI cable into a VGA display, then this is what you need!

it works well and is not expensive. It is not very large. I like it.

I bought this item because the VGA input in my computer is no longer working for some reason. I host trivia in bars and I needed to connect to a VGA input to be able to connect to the TV screens in the venue. It works for what I need and I haven't had any issues. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it doesn't have a way to secure the VGA connection to the adapter.

Because the display on my new laptop is so small, and my eyes aren't that great, it helps having a remote monitor. This device allows me to use the monitor that I previously purchased from BestBuy,

I've bought a few of these adapters, and they just work, I haven't had to use the USB power input on any of them. These seems to always be marked as on clearance for $13, which is a really fair price IMO.
