Exactly what I needed

My laptop is a newer model so sadly it only has an HDMI port on it and my TVs HDMI port was taken. I also purchased a VGA cable to be paired with this. Everything worked out perfectly. Thanks Best Buy!

This product has no audio output.

If you're only audio output on your piece of machinery is via that HDMI jack, you've got a problem. Competing products have a 1/8 inch audio output jack. This one does not.
