I needed to run some powerpoints for a men's retreat and just bought a new laptop. I didn't even think about it only having hdmi. The projector was vga so thankfully my local Best Buy had this. I used it and it worked perfectly.

My new laptop has the hdmi port while my projector has the VGA connector. Only way to use my old projector - bought in 2000 but still in great condition - is via this adapter. Simple to connect and works like a charm.

I needed a new computer but my 10 year old monitor was still fine - except for the old plug that wouldn't fit the new computer. This $25 adapter worked great, and saved much more than I would have spent on a new monitor!

Works perfect for my needs. I'm using a monitor to display the video from my Raspberry PI that uses a HDMI output. The older monitor I'm using doesn't have a HDMI port. The adapter does everything I need it to do.

Great adapter. I used to have one from Amazon, but it didn't work at all. This one actually works and has been really good with my old VGA monitor.

I purchased the 32" Samsung TV based on the excellent reviews it received and the reputation of Samsung TV's. I'm very pleased with it, the picture and sound quality is very good. In addition, setting it up was quick and easy.

After buying a similar item from another vendor I was very disappointed because it did not work at all well with a monitor, however, the Insignia adapter worked great the first time I tried it and continues to work well today.

Bought this to use with the new AOC monitors I got at the same time so I can run my work laptop closed and use the dual AOC's. Simple, Easy, works like a charm. Also, use one of these at home with dual monitors there.

This is a great product for the price, however, I wish it had come with a small instruction slip to explain a few of it's limitations. I had to return this, because it did not connect to the screen I wanted it to connect to.

Does what it needs to do. No complaints here. Had my HDMI go out on a monitor. Connecting it to this to be able to use on my new gaming PC. Works as it should.

When I bought my secretary a new monitor, it only had a Display or HDMI port - no VGA port. I really didn't want to exchange the monitor because I got an amazing deal on it. This adapter saved the day at a very good price!

Works perfectly! This was recommended to me above the other options I had and I am glad that I went with the recommendation/suggestion! Insignia does it again!

My computer does not have an HDMI connectioon. So I use this adaptor and it makes moving (connect/disconnect my two monitors really easy. It could be better only if there were screw holes to prevent disconnection of the larger end of the adaptor.

For some reason, connecting my older VGA monitor to the VGA port on my docking station did not work. However it works it works perfectly using this adapter connected to the HDMI port.

Bought a new computer, my monitor is an older one without the new socket to connect to the computer. This was just what I needed to avoid buying a new monitor to replace one that is still fine.

Honestly not much to say. It does exactly what it says. I used to connect to an old projector with no HDMI input and it worked perfectly. I can say what quality it support but i will say it looked great on a 720p projector

This is a great way to utilize an older VGA monitor when your newer laptop only had an HDMI. Must less expensive than buying a new monitor. Well worth the small price tag!

I found this adapter a "must-have" for connecting my late model projector without a HDMI port to my new light-weight laptop.

I was trying to set up my projectors with HDMI however they all had VGA so when I bought this adapter I was skeptical but when I applied it. This product came in clutch is a great bye.
