Be aware that if you buy a new laptop you now need to buy an adapter like this to attach to a projector. It worked great but just frustrating because now their is something else you need to remember if you are presenting.

Worked as expected, need a micro USB cable to make it work, which is not added to this package, hence had to purchase separately. That is the reason for average rating. It is over priced and I value BB, hence decided to buy here instead of online stores.

Bought open box guy in back said it would be $20 took box to front they charged $27.99 Wasn’t happy but needed part so paid and left. Product works fine, this is why I prefer other Best Buy’s or shopping from amazon.

Best Buy helped me to get the right thing!! I needed to connect my monitor (VGA) to my new laptop (HDMI) -- I didn't even know there was such a thing. Thanks Best Buy as always!!

This works as designed. However, it would be much better if the VGA receiver end was built to receive or grip the 2 screws from the male connector on most VGA cords. Otherwise, this comes unplugged very easily

This piece is perfect for quick hook ups with your laptop

My son is dyslexic so we wanted to hook his laptop up to a TV monitor to make it easier for him to read and do his homework. We used this with the cable monitors and he loves it.

This adapter is of good quality and serves its purpose.

Needed to connect a new HP tower to a not so new monitor. Monitor only had a VGA connection, and the tower (annoyingly) only had HDMI ports. So this adapter solved my problem.

Works as intended for laptops with only one output

It worked fine, I guess, it just wasn't what I needed. The BestBuy salesman talked me into it, but what I actually need was a display port. I ended up returning this and just buying a whole new monitor.

Nicely Made only problem only works one way Hdmi to VGA

I plugged it in and it worked without any drivers, configuration or anything, it's great and a very convenient way to add a monitor to your laptop that only has HDMI outputs.

I bought this to connect my Apple tv to a VGA projector and it accomplished exactly what I was looking for. Simply plugged it in and started using it straight from the box.
