Didn't work exactly right, so returned it an bought the right cable that worked fine. Had a problem using it on a gaming computer. It might have worked fine of you are just using it without games.

Very useful item. Almost all the laptops now come with HDMI output and this is required for old project models. I bought 2.

Took a little while to figure out how to get my display to come up on my external Display. Not very intuitive. I would recommend it for a basic connection at home if you do not want to pay $100's

Had problems with this product using apple products. Could not get it to work using an additional HDMI converter when I tried to use with IPhone or IPad. It worked fine using a regular PC laptop.

This works very well... I use it with a Macbook Pro. I was confused at first when it didn't work. I spent quite a bit of time trying everything I could. Eventually I noticed a micro USB port labeled "Power". There was nothing about this on the box or the "documentation", if you can call it that. Once I gave it USB power the adapter worked like a champ. There must be some sort of Conversion chip in the adapter that needed additional power to convert from HDMI to VGA. I would recommend this product, just make sure you have a Micor-USB cable for it too!

It works as intended but it lacks the female screw port to screw the cable into so the possibility of an accidental separation is possible.

I have an older projection unit. The cords will not fit my new computer. Using this adapter allows me to use new computer with old projector unit.

We were given a nearly new monitor, but it was VGA and our computer only had a HDMI plug. Problem solved! Works great.

No problems. I switch between my laptop display and desk display. Just plug everything in and switch back and forth.

No software to install. Just plugged it in and it worked. I've used it several times without any problems at all.

Adapter received quickly, and works as described; I am experiencing a bit of lag with the image, but I can get used to it- not a deal breaker
