We have a projector with HDMI and VGA inputs. The Apple TV is already dedicated to the HDMI and the new Dell Laptop only has HDMI out so this adapter has served us well for usage of the laptop on the VGA port

This adapter works great, I just wish someone had told me that I was going to need it before I left the store and went home to set up the new computer...it would have saved me almost an hour round trip back to get one.

I was trying to set up my projectors with HDMI however they all had VGA so when I bought this adapter I was skeptical but when I applied it. This product came in clutch is a great bye.

I needed this connector to be able to present at a college that had not upgrade to HDMI yet. This connector is handy, easy to use and gives me the flexibility to connect to VGA when I need to.

Does what it needs to do. No complaints here. Had my HDMI go out on a monitor. Connecting it to this to be able to use on my new gaming PC. Works as it should.

This is a great way to utilize an older VGA monitor when your newer laptop only had an HDMI. Must less expensive than buying a new monitor. Well worth the small price tag!

Great adapter. I used to have one from Amazon, but it didn't work at all. This one actually works and has been really good with my old VGA monitor.

Obviously...... a chain is only as strong as the weakest link. So you can't expect HDMI quality picture out of VGA. It allowed us to use an old projector with a newer laptop. Worked great.

This product worked excellent! It was cost effective and it worked very well I had no problems, I used it to connect my Mac Pro to an older projector that I had not used in a while. It worked perfectly.

Product worked as soon as I plugged it in. Order a similar product from another company and still have not gotten that product to work yet. . Thanks Best Buy for having this product in stock when I needed it

Used to connect an older VGA-only LCD to my new graphics card. Combine with “Insignia™ - 6' HDDB15 Male-to-Male PC Monitor Cable - Black” to replace the old warn monitor cables with good results.

I give numerous presentations to different groups in multiple locations, and I prefer to use my laptop rather than what they have available. The cord stays in my travel bag out of the way until needed. Has worked excellently!

My new laptop has only a mini HDMI port. I give several presentations, usually using the facilities projector hooked to my laptop. This adapter was a life saver, as it allows me flexibility to adapt to various projectors.

I have an older extra monitor that I used with my previous laptop. I bought a new laptop that only has an HDMI port for an extra monitor. This adapter allows me to connect a VGA cord to the HDMI port. The VGA monitor works fine with this arrangement.

This was a required purchase in order to complete the connection between my laptop and the monitor I purchased. I have had no issues whatsoever. It continues to serve its function as intended.

Needing the ability to convert HDMI to SVGA this purchase was made. Connecting HDMI to Dell PC and SVGA to audio visual projector. Dell PC recognized HDMI Adapter and projector monitor output through HDMI to SVGA without any issues.

Trying to solve a problem and ordering parts from amazon is not always the right answer. Sometimes you have to go to a physical store. This worked perfectly right out of the box!

This adapter successfully allowed a monitor with only Display Port and USB C to an HDMI port in a PC. It doesn't have the same lock or securing mechanism like Display Port, Ethernet, VGA cables, etc.

We have an old overhead projector, that still works great, at church and needed a way to hook it up to a new laptop and this was the perfect solution.
