Works well with modern laptops but really question why the modern laptop doesn't include proper adapter. You would think it would be included until the larger screens have a different connection.

I got this adapter to hook up my xbox one to a computer monitor. It works great, was quick to set up, and easy to get out of the packaging. Reasonably priced. Would buy again.

These are excellent for use, worked great for what I needed and a good price. Compared to amazon and needed them right away the price was matched.

The new PCs and Laptops don't have a VGA port. They have a HDMI port. The HDMI to VGA adapter will allow you to plug in your old monitor into you newer PC or Laptop.

Worked as advertised. Had to hookup an old monitor to current laptop and this cable worked as advertised. Best Buy has the best price and arrived as promised.

I bought this item because I purchased a new computer that did not have VGA ports but only HDMI. I plugged this into the computer and simply attached the VGA cord into it. Real simple and really easy to connect.

I run the A/V stuff at our church. Most of it is old but just enough new where I am always having to patch this to that. This works well for getting the HDMI signal out of a new laptop with just HDMI output to an old project with VGA but no HDMI port.

It connected the projector to my new ASUS laptop (purchased at Best Buy). New slimmer laptops do not have the VGA input/output plug. Best Buy was the only place that had the adapter. Worked perfect. Saved the Day!

I use it for work and it connects immediately to my laptop and cables at other schools. Comes in handy but make sure you follow the directions on the yellow tag prior to using it.

I am facilitating a national sales training roll out. My MacBook Pro only has lightning ports and client sites only VGA. This adapter works great with PowerPoint when chained through a USB adapter.

If you have to do presentations, there are times you have retro fit the equipment you’re dealing with and this adapter does exactly what it’s supposed to.... Great Product.

I purchased this item to go between a mac mini and a monitor. The monitor had only vga inputs, and the mac mini doesn't have a vga output. This adapter works perfectly, with no glitches or problems.

When looking for an adapter, price is always good to consider. I did it with this one, but was glad to find not only a good price, but one that worked as I needed it to. Insignia really did it for me and my needs.

I just got a new computer and it had an hdmi connection for the monitor and this proved to be an ideal source solution to be able to keep my old monitor that still works great.

I didn't know that you needed an adapter to connect a monitor to a laptop, but this thing did it. Painless.
