It would work for a little while then the screen connected via the VGA converter would go blank. You have to 'wiggle' or pull out and reinsert the HDMI connector and it would come back on for a bit. I took it back but have since found others who had the same problem.

But kept going in and out and wouldn’t establish a constant signal. So it not only made the external monitor useless it also made the computer unusable.
