Both the MacBook screen and projector went dark with adapter plugged in so it was impossible to diagnose the issue. Just a waste of money.

It's a One Way Adapter

When I changed to another adapter, the problem went away. I suspect the problem was the adapter. Not sure if it was a compatabality issue or not?

Wouldn't work on Mac

I expected simple plug & play, but all I got was flashing PowerPoint on my laptop, and nothing projected. I don't know if the problem was the connector...or the user!

We have hardwired projectors that have 20 ft VGA cables between wall plate and device and this adapter had problems getting the signal to the projector.

It did not do the conversion. Now whether it was the TV or the converter who knows but we returned the product back to the store.

However, the screw posts on the female plug do not match up with the threads on the adapter so you can secure the plugs together. They tend to fall apart if you move the wiring around.
