Over ADAPTATION, I guess. It didn't work. So, I purchased the Insignia™ - Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA Adapter and "Viola!". That worked great.

I ended up going with a DVI cpnverter instead which worked fine. There are cheaper options out there for these cables too.

The mouse pad is very sensitive to touch and the right side of the mouse either does not work sometimes or you have to tap it hard to get a response. I thought it was random until I exchanged it for another one. It too, had the same problem. I would be very cautious before buying. The store Ipurchased from was also very rude when I returned it the second time.
