Best of all, the picture CLEARLY showed that the VGA connector was the one I needed to mate with my pre-HDMI hp monitor. This latter was extremely important to me because I'm not conversant in all the various connector types and the tech from work had loaned me a connector that didn't work even though it is a VGA to HDMI connector.
