Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you STILL have an old monitor with a VGA connection, or an old computer that only has a VGA connection, here's your unit to switch back and forth between VGA and HDMI connections. It's inexpensive and it works. It's a fading technology (VGA) but there are still some in use and like other adaptors, some people will need this one.

Not what we expected.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having to constantly hold this together with the other part is was connected to made it very difficult to use. It ended up being more of a hassle than anything else, it has since broken and not usable now. Very disappointed and would have returned/exchanged it, but no longer have the original packing for it. It could have just been an issue with the other end connected to it, which is why I'd recommend it to others,it could have just been a defective one that I bought.
