It beats out more expensive bags (read: Tumi which doesn't even come with a carrying strap.) It has enough room for your laptop adorned with micro USB dongles (mouse, keyboard, etc.) without damaging them. It also has a front pocket for accessories that's big enough for my Logitech trackball. All in all, it's great buy.

There is about a 1/2” clearance between each edge of the laptop and the respective case edge, so the laptop easily fits within the case, yet is snug enough such that laptop does not shift around inside. Padding is adequate.
