Case has carrying handle and shoulder strap to make for east transport. Provides easy access for my 14" laptop and can handle up to a 15.6" unit. Case provides a minimum amount of protection for your laptop with a removable insert but for the price is OK. Material and construction are above average for a budget case.

It is as thick as a another neoprene sleeve that I have. Not sure of its shock absorbancy. The secondary pocket is being used to store usb thumb drives, ethernet and hdmi cables, mouse, and stylus. The internal diameters of the sleeve is about 15.4" wide by 10.8" high.
