I started out with a 14" computer and now I have a 15.6 and it has worked well for both of them. Not too big and yet holds everything I need.

No super thick on the protection, but it kept my Lenovo Yoga safe from here to Afghanistan and back, so it did exactly what I needed. Front pocket does have some divided storage which is a nice addition.

Cheap and practical

It fits my computer perfectly even with the mouse USB adaptor plugged into it and my computer is exactly the dimensions listed for the bag. The one downside is there isn't a separate compartment for my papers. I didn't think I would need a spot for my papers when I bought the bag, but I started using it for school and wish I had thought of it. It has a pocket for cords and mouse. Its a great bag for the price.

At the end of the day, I just pack my power cord , wireless mouse, along with laptop in it and carry it home. It's also thin enough to be placed in a larger bag.
