I’ve been using Apple AirTags ever since they came out and they have saved me time and money so far and also the inconvenience of having to go back to where I left the item at. These Insignia Tags look like the AirTags but a bit bigger. Has a built-in loop for key rings and comes with small key rings. Easy to setup with iPhone. Easier access to the battery, can be opened with a coin. AirTags battery covers were cumbersome to remove and re-install. There is physical reset button which can either be a pro or a con depending on user preference. The AirTag reset procedure is ridiculous but I don’t like the convenience of a reset button on these Insignia Tags. AirTags plays sound three times while the Insignia Tags plays sound 5 times. Gives you a bit more time to hone in on it before having to play the sound again. The Insignia tag sound is a tiny bit louder too in my opinion. The Insignia Tag shares the same features as the AirTag but for a quarter of the price and so far, it works just the same.

The Insignia Tags 4 pack is a great option when you are looking for locator tags that are affordable. You get four of them for even less than one of the other types that are available. These only work with Apple products so keep that in mind. Setting up was incredibly easy. All I had to do was pull the little plastic tab out, push the little button, you will hear a chirp, and then follow the steps to set up on your through Find My. Connected and good to go! I intend to use these in my purse and luggage – and since there are 4 of them, I can share the rest with my family of Apple users. You can set each one to have a different emoji, kind of like a naming convention so you know which one you are looking at when you are in the app. Overall, I see these as super handy to have, and the price point is spot on. These don’t have a super long range though, so that is something to keep in mind. These are great to have around the house, and near your phone but long distance is not the target for these per the specs you can go up to164 feet.

Pretty good version of the Apple tag. The one thing I did notice is that they seem a bit thicker and thus do not sit in dedicated dog tags as well. We've had them pop out recently. So we just taped them onto the dog tags. Price wise you can't go wrong. Love the ability to change the battery.

This is perfect for tracking anything important to you, like your keys or your car. Perfectly accessible through my "Find My" app on my phone, and it was super easy to set up. Highly recommend!

I’m very happy with these Insignia locator tags overall, especially for the price. Apple AirTags are excellent, but if you want multiple trackers for a wallet, keys, bags, backpacks, or luggage, the cost can add up quickly. This 4-pack is a much more affordable option while still giving you the convenience of Apple’s Find My app. I mainly keep one in my wallet, and it has been really helpful on mornings when I’m running late for work and cannot remember where I left it. Being able to open the Find My app and play a sound makes it much easier to find quickly, especially when it is somewhere around the house. The biggest thing to understand is that these do not offer every AirTag feature. They do not have Apple’s Precision Finding feature with directional guidance and distance information on compatible iPhones. So if you are expecting that more advanced guided-search experience, that is something to keep in mind. For my use, though, I mostly just need help finding items I misplace nearby, and for that purpose, these work well. Setup was simple, and I like that they work through Apple Find My instead of requiring a separate app. The build is basic, but practical, and the value is hard to beat for a 4-pack. Overall, these are a great option if you want affordable item trackers for everyday use and do not necessarily need the premium Precision Finding features of Apple AirTags. For finding my wallet and other misplaced items around the house, they do exactly what I need.

The Insignia locator tag works fine for nearby tracking and is easy to set up. But it doesn’t show live location when the item is far away — it only updates the last known spot. That’s the one downside. Otherwise, it’s a solid and affordable tracker for basic use.

All functionality is as good on my iPhone11, iPhoneSE3 and iPadAir5 (pairing & sharing). Once paired, the sharing works on all those, but the sharing tag doesn't show up on my original iPhone SE or older iPadPro on IPadOS 16.7.12 due to older Apple OS software. I am very happy with the price to performance since I got it at a really good price at 2025 Christmas sale. I had even give one to a friend to try. I think if you have reasonable expectations, this is an economical replacement for AirTags. Battery life is unknown, but the original AirTag I purchased near original release date had battery life of 2.5 years before it finally gave out. Even if the battery life would be less, it's not a problem.

Easy to set up. I purposely walked away from an item I was tracking. The report showed up on my phone as expected. Because they work with "find my" on an iPhone there is no additional app necessary to download.

They work great and easy to use. The button is easy to push though, so you do have to redo it when you accidentally press the button.

works on Apple's Find My app just like the regular AirTags do but they don't have precision finding capability. They didn't work on my iPhone 6S but worked on newer iPhone 10.

Locator Tags work well but opening the case for battery replacement or reset would be tricky as it is not easy turn with a coin and edges smashes too.

Easy to connect to phone. Easy to track. It does not work when the phone is beyond say 250 meters. Otherwise this is a good product for the price.

So far so good. These are a good deal if you can get them on sale. I'm only using one so far. These will be good to get the address / general idea of where something is. It does not have the fine tracking that Apple Airtags have, but that's OK. With this, I get to the general place, and then you can make it sound it's chime. The chime on these is louder than on Apple's airtags, so that's nice. And I got the 4 pack on black Friday sale for $13 - you can't beat it for that price.

I bought this locator tag for my pets, and is perfect to locate. Very practical. Very easy to connect to my iphone.

Bought these to add to the luggage on upcoming trip. Easy to add in Find My App. So far so good, working as intended.

These trackers work great. Very easy to set up to Find My. Tested out and works great to ping with a sound.
