A: The button does not ping your phone. The network of iPhones and iPads is much larger than then network of phones that have the Tile app installed. Again, an AirTag or AirTag compatible device (like the Insignia Locator Tag here) will ping its location into the Apple Find My network with *every* iPhone it passes.. A Tile will only ping the Tile network *if* the phone has the Tile app installed, which most phones will not.

A: i starting using these with the "find my" app which is standard on iPhones right out of the box. No additional subscription required.

A: This is iOS and MacOS only. It will not work on Android.
