I upgraded to the AirTag (2nd generation) after using the original model for years, and it's a noticeable improvement. The tracking feels faster and more responsive, especially when using Precision Finding. The increased range makes it easier to locate items even when they're farther away, and the speaker is louder, which helps when searching around the house. Setup was as simple as ever—just bring it near your iPhone, and it's ready to go in seconds. The integration with Apple's Find My network continues to be one of the biggest reasons to choose an AirTag, and it works seamlessly. Battery life is still excellent, and the new features make it feel like a worthwhile upgrade without changing what already worked well. If you're already invested in the Apple ecosystem and want a reliable way to keep track of your keys, luggage, backpack, or other valuables, the AirTag 2 is an easy recommendation. The only downside is that it still doesn't include a built-in keyring hole, so you'll need to buy an accessory to attach it to most items. Other than that, it's an excellent tracker and a solid improvement over the original.

Works great. I have a few of the 1st generation. The only thing I'd change is I wish Apple would make them a little bit thinner.

Set up easy. Seems to work well. Using initially for baggage when flying since they lost my bag for a day when I went on vacation.

I bought this Apple AirTag for my best friend. She saved enough for this product but no one would take her to the store to buy it, she doesn't have a card either. After a week of her telling me she wanted this product so badly for her Nissan (which I gave to her for free), I decided to buy it for her. She received the product on time and she was able to attach it to her Nissan in the glove department. She wasn't being specific but she told me something about Apple having blue tooth and connecting it to her iPhone 15, so she can track where her Nissan is. Simple as that, but this is her first time having an Apple AirTag and using it. I don't know how it works either but I'm sure it's simple as heck. She still has the Apple AirTag and it's been a little over a month since she's had it. So far, she tells me there's no problems or issues with it at all. I'm going to buy myself one too, for my Honda.

I used the Apple AirTag 2 in my check-in luggage while traveling around Japan, and it gave me real peace of mind. I have set up the AirTag and it works very well. Easy to set-up and manage. I am using it to track my suitcases during my summer travel overseas.

I needed this for a business trip and picked it up last min. it was supper easy to program and worked great. The only reason for the 4 stars is that i want to see how long the battery lasts before i give it a 5 star but definatley recomend

I used the original AirTags for years, and the Gen 2 is a great step up. The setup was instant on my iPhone, and it fits perfectly into my dog’s collar holder. The biggest differences I’ve noticed in daily use are the range and the speaker. The Precision Finding picks up from much farther away now, and the speaker is significantly louder. It makes it way easier to locate my dog when they're out in the yard and I need to know where they’re at. Definitely worth picking up for the peace of mind!
