For the clearance price this thing was a steal. Backlit and turns on when it senses movement is an awesome feature. No delay in functionality which I experienced with other remotes.

When not playing games with my Xbox, this controller makes all other media navigation smooth and easy. A must have and I wish I had purchased this when I first got my Xbox.....

I like that the remote control includes a keyboard on the back to easily write messages to the chat or enter long game codes.

I was tired of trying to type letters with my xbox controller to find a netflix movie or to change the channels on sling, now with this one I can do that super easy.

I was looking for just a remote for my XBOX1 and saw this one on clearance for $15. I've had it a little over a month now and not had one problem with it. I love that I can just use it for a remote on one side and when I have to log in or type in codes just flip it over and type away. It is also very helpful that both sides are backlit so I don't have to turn on a light to see what keys I need to push. For that price I am going to get another and keep for a spare.

Was included free along with xbox one expansion hard drive. I love it. Responds immediately and the keyboard on the back is so much easier to enter codes, etc.

Makes communicating in-game a lot easier. Can type directly instead of spacing over each character on the screen.

Great remote for the Xbox one... I like the set up..tv remote on one side... chat pad hen you flip it over and it lights up when you touch it... sweet!

Decent remote for the price. Can be used with other devices besides the Xbox One. Like the size, feel, and features (especially the back lighting).

If you use your Xbox for binge watching, this item is a must. It makes searching infinitely easier as well as redeeming the stupid 25 character game codes.

Like i said it does the job, however its not as good as it could be. You have to aim it at where the dongle is pretty precisely or it doesnt work that well. The keyboard part isnt as finicky though.

Found this in store, on clearance and snatched it up. I figured I couldn't go wrong for the money spent and I'm glad I did. My son has a One in his room and uses it for just about everything media wise. This makes it much easier for him to search, message or enter passwords. It connects like a wireless keyboard, with a tiny usb dongle. It comes to life as soon as you move it, with whichever side is facing up as the active side. We've had no issues with battery life or failures I've read in other reviews. Overall, we're very pleased.

The remote is very nice but sometimes it's not very responsive to button presses. Also I feel like I have to aim the remote at the Xbox for it to work. But other than that it's great.

I bought this to make it easier to send messages while I'm playing on my xbox. So much better and faster than using the controller.

I bought the official xbox remote first but took it back because it was very limited on what it would do. This one does it all.

this holds up one of your usb ports, just get the original remote for the xbox

Love the remote and the lighting up when it senses that it has been moved. Only bad thing is that it needs to have nothing between it and the receiver in the Xbox.

Bought this think it was a decent price as discounted. I mean, it works. Just not that intuitive to operate.

I bought the remote thinking I'd be able to use it for everything it advertises to do, however I wasn't aware that you do need to have a Kinect in order to do all the functions. Maybe I should have done some research myself before buying it. However I am able to do very basic stuff still & I did purchase it on clearance so I can't complain about it too much. Great idea but do make sure you have the Kinect 1st which most people do have anyhow.

Nice remote, lights up green when picked up. The battery cover design is terrible and opens too easy. Came free with my Seagate Xbox One external HD.
