Usually you could leave it alone and it would shut off and reset. Not now, had to return to the store and just get a chat pad.... The reverse side was a good idea with the qwerty pad, too bad it wouldn't reprogram.

Only good for about a month

Helped me type quicker in chat and was way better than having to use the controller for when I watched Netflix, Amazon prime and youtube which is probably about 50% of what I use the Xbox for. After about 3-4 weeks the controller kept getting stuck on the keyboard side, which made it completely useless for watching videos, I would take out the batteries and reseat them it would work but if you flipped it around it would again get stuck on the keyboard side. This is some huge flaw in design. If you only wanted it as a keyboard then it's fine but I moslty wanted it for late nights when I'm watching videos.
