Remote gets the job done but definitely feels cheap. The keyboard on the back is pretty much useless in my experience. I'll just stick to the Microsoft remote and use my phone for a keyboard.

Got it home pulled the cover off to install the batteries and 2 of the ears broke off that hold the cover on, then in 1 weeks time the volume buttons quit working on the remote.

It's ok but when I tried to type with the letters on the back of the remote it didn't show up on the screen..

I was going to buy the Xbox branded remote for 25$, but I saw this at my local store and it seemed to be worth the 25 more dollars. When i got it out of the box i realized i was correct. The keys on the front are great and clicky and the back light is awesome. The keyboard on the rear is very useful as well. some of the keys dont click as well as others but it is 100% better than hunting around with the controller. So i am very happy with the remote for the price. It also controls my TV in the ways i need it to and makes using video apps much easier. Great purchase for any Xbox One owner.

I typically make purchases after reading people's reviews but decided against that because I really wanted a keyboard remote to use with my xbox. Other users stated that the remote overheated and I thought it couldn't possibly happen to me. I was wrong, it did overheat. The one time I used it, it worked great but other than that I was never able to use it again.

I had this item for about 2 weeks and would rather use the xb1 controller than this. Poor quality

Put the batteries that it came with in and the remote got super hot, so we took them out and waited awhile. Then we put a brand new set of good batteries in and the retmote didn't work at all. We bought it because it was cheap but we thought it would at least work for a little while.

The Media portion of the remote works fine, but I have yet to be a able to use the keyboard portion at all. Should have just bought the official Microsoft remote.

The backlight for the keyboard worked for a minute or so, but now half of the keyboard does not light up. A nice feature if it would actually work as intended.

3 Days Later started to mess up & started to freeze up the lights on the controller stayed on that killed the batteries. !! never buy one of these!!

No longer lights up, does not register the first time I hit a button, which now does not matter because it doesn't work at all.

Got this free with Seagate Storage device.burned out 5min after using. Case and point.

This is better than the Microsoft version. The keys are backlit and the keyboard is AWESOME for searching Netflix or for messaging. It's pretty high quality for the price so I was pleasantly surprised. It's been used daily for over two weeks with no battery issues. One thing though. There is a little USB plug in that's inside the battery compartment. You have to plug it into the Xbox or it won't work.

This remote is pretty average, even though it does the job well, Insignia could of made the buttons a little more comfortable and the remote smaller in height. Compare to the OEM Xbox one remote, this product is in 2nd place. Xbox one remote looks better and is a bit more comfortable. As for the keyboard on the back, it is a nice addition, but there has been some sections in certain games I couldn't use the keyboard for some reason. It made me consider getting the keyboard for the game controller, which I didn't want because I didn't want to add extra weight to it.
